- Just one example of our service is the family-friendly “rotational dining” concept pioneered by Disney that continues to be available only on Disney Cruise Line. Our guests visit one of 3 themed restaurants on the first night of their cruise and meet their serving staff. On subsequent nights, Guests rotate to the other restaurants with their same serving staff following them. Guests receive star treatment because their dedicated serving staff becomes familiar with the unique needs and preferences of everyone in the family and go the extra mile to make dining a magical experience.
Family Dining Flexibility
- Disney makes it easy for families to come together for meals by offering a variety of ways to dine ranging from quick-service locations on the top decks and complimentary room service to 3 uniquely themed restaurants.
- Disney is proud to offer a unique service called “Dine & Play” to families dining in the second seating. The Dine & Play service allows families to still enjoy dinner together but ensures kid’s meals are served at a faster pace so they can leave the dining room and enjoy activities at Disney’s Oceaneer Club and Disney’s Oceaneer Lab. Kids are picked up by Disney Youth Activities counselors and the adults can stay in dining room to enjoy the rest of their meal at a leisurely pace.
- Disney also offers complimentary soda, coffee, and tea at a 24-hour beverage station on the top deck and in the dining rooms. Most other cruise lines charge per person per day for soda.
